StakeBell is a reminder service. It is built so that there is nothing valuable to steal.
What it needs is one number — the ID of your Telegram chat — plus the public chain identifier of the position you want to be reminded about. This page explains exactly what is stored, why, for how long, and how to get rid of it.
What is stored
Only when you press Start in the Telegram bot does anything become linked to you. Before that, a reminder exists without any chat ID and cannot reach anyone.
- Your Telegram chat ID — a number Telegram assigns. It is not your phone number, your username, or your name.
- What you asked to be reminded about: a transaction ID, a NodeID, or an XPR account name with a lock index. All of these are public chain data.
- Your settings: which events should trigger a message, how much warning you want, and for capacity reminders the threshold you chose.
- Timestamps: when the reminder was created, confirmed, and when a message was sent.
- The text of a queued message, until it has been delivered.
- A SHA-256 hash of the one-time link that connects the website to your chat — never the link itself, and only for 15 minutes.
What is never stored
- No name, email address, or phone number.
- No wallet address, private key, seed phrase, or signature.
- No payment details — the service is free and has no paid tier.
- No password, because there is no account.
- No cookies are set. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts or fonts — the site loads nothing from anywhere else, and its content security policy forbids it.
- No IP addresses in the database.
Why it is stored
To deliver the service you asked for: a message at a moment you chose. Without the chat ID there is no recipient; without the chain identifier there is nothing to watch. The legal basis is the performance of a service requested by you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Limits on how many reminders can be created rest on the legitimate interest of keeping the service usable and resistant to abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else sees it
- Telegram. Delivering a message means handing it, together with your chat ID, to Telegram. Telegram operates outside the European Union and applies its own privacy policy. Whatever you send to the bot passes through Telegram as well. This is unavoidable for a Telegram bot — it is the medium you chose when you pressed Start.
- The hosting provider, as a processor, operates the server the service runs on.
- Public chain APIs are queried by the server, never by your browser. They see the server asking about a node — not you asking.
- Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or passed on for any other purpose.
How long it is kept
- A reminder that is never confirmed is deleted automatically after 15 minutes, along with its link.
- A confirmed reminder is kept until it is cancelled or its purpose ends.
- Sending /stop to the bot deletes your reminders and any pending messages immediately. Blocking the bot has the same effect: the next delivery attempt fails, and the data is removed.
- Snapshots of the chain itself are kept indefinitely. They contain only public network data — node identifiers, stake amounts, uptime — and no reference to any person.
Server logs
Like any web server, the machine serving this site records requests, which can include IP addresses, for a short period. These logs exist to keep the service running and to recognise attacks. They are not merged with the reminder data and are not used to build a profile.
Your browser
One thing is stored on your device: your choice of light, dark, or automatic appearance. It stays in your browser, is never transmitted, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. Nothing else is stored there, and no consent banner is required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you may object to processing. You can also complain to a supervisory authority.
For deletion, the fastest route is /stop in the bot — it takes effect immediately and needs no request. For anything else, write to the address below. Note that a chat ID is the only handle that exists here: without it, data cannot be located.
Who is responsible
StakeBell is built and operated by Kellerkind (ke11erkind@proton.me), an individual, not a company. Using it is free and always will be: nothing is sold, no third-party advertising is carried, no payment is ever requested, and your data is never passed on or monetised.
One interest is stated openly rather than left out: the operator also runs three validators on Metal Blockchain and earns a delegation fee from anyone who delegates to them — the About page names them. It changes nothing about the data on this page.
Questions about this page, about data held about you, or about anything else: write to that address. For deletion you do not need to write at all — /stop in the bot is immediate.
Independence
StakeBell is an independent project and is not affiliated with Metallicus, Metal Blockchain, XPR Network, or LOAN. It never executes transactions, holds no funds, and gives no investment advice.
